		APPALACHIAN TECHNICAL COLLEGE STUDENT SERVICES FIRST FLOOR RENOVATION Jasper, GA The project consisted of an interior renovation to convert a tool shop area into a new laboratory, new classroom and new offices. The scope work included extensive fieldwork to accurately depict the existing conditions. New heat pump HVAC units were chosen to supply the renovated areas due to the limit on space for the units and limited height above the suspended ceiling. Project Size: 4,000 Sq. Ft. More pictures		CLAYTON COLLEGE & STATE UNIVERSITY CENTRAL COOLING TOWER & PUMP FACILITY MORROW, GA Located in the center of the campus and in the middle of the parking lot with high exposure to those driving or walking past, the design masks, but does not hide the important function within. Brick and precast concrete were used to be consistent with other campus buildings providing a sense of place. The building is partially enclosed for the pump area and open over the towers. Decorative screens were used that allow only partial views of the towers creating interest in a building type that typically is not interesting. The screens also allowed maximum flow of air required by the equipment. Project Size: 2,200 Sq. Ft. Construction Cost: $500,000

More pictures		SOUTHERN POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY Classroom Renovation Building "J" Atlanta, GA GSB provided design services for 2 projects at Southern Polytechnic State University. The goal at Building "J" was to take a partially used space and transform it into a classroom, conference room and office cubicles. This project had a short fuse and we were able to provide a finished product that implemented the clients standards and on time. Project Size: 2,972 Sq. Ft. Construction Cost: $150,000
		LANIER TECHNOLOGICAL COLLEGE New Maintenance Building Oakwood, GA New prefabricated metal building to house the campus maintenance department manager and staff and provide space for storage and maintenance functions. A large overhang on one side economically shelters large stored mowing and maintenance equipment. A brick veneer was added to match other nearby campus buildings. Carefully planning and coordination was required due to existing underground fiber runs and a small site. Project Size: 3,000 Sq. Ft. Construction Cost: $ TBD

		GEORGIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Britain Dining Hall Roof Replacement Atlanta, GA Project consisted of replacing a historically problematic roof on the historical Brittain Hall building on the Georgia Tech campus. The success of the project stemmed from GSB's careful evaluation of the existing conditions and the existing roof and structure type, as well as selecting a new roofing system that would protect this important structure. Before After		AV ROOM & DATA CENTER Classroom Renovation Building "H" Atlanta, GA GSB provided design services for 2 projects at Southern Polytechnic State University. The goal at Building H, was to renovate an existing AV room and bring it to more modern standards. As with Building "J" project, the demands had increased with more students enrolling in the university, so the project had to be developed at a fast pace. Project Size: 1,215 Sq. Ft.
